Today I had the distinct privilege of presenting at the 2014 Public Allies Leadership Conference with my fellow Public Allies and content experts from Pittsburgh. The theme of the conference, in its 2nd year, was innovation. Now, despite my short time at Carnegie Mellon, I got very accustomed to the idea of Pittsburgh being a city of innovation… but I didn’t see myself as part of it!
However, I was challenged to think about innovations that I could enact and advocate. For me, that comes in the form of personal branding.
While I will most likely add a narrated version of my PowerPoint presentation later, for now I’d like to leave you with some slides that you can use to begin thinking about your personal brand:
Of course, I would love to see examples of what you come up with! Leave messages in the comments or post on Twitter with #palc or #personalbrandingplus so that I can see – and share! – some of your great work.
